Major depression is a serious disorder that can cause individuals to experience a wide variety of different symptoms, some of which can become so severe that it is often hard for individuals with this type of depression to carry on with their normal routine responsibilities and activities. In many cases of major depression the individual will show a lack of desire to engage in various hobbies and other types of activities that used to bring them a great deal of satisfaction and enjoyment.
