This treatment can help a great deal for patients that are not continuing the use of any type of prescription medications. This form of preventative care has shown to be very helpful in lengthening the intervals between recurring episodes of depression. In other cases there are some physicians that may suggest the patient continue their use of prescription antidepressants.
