How to Take Sinequan |
Sinequan should be stored at room temperature, especially below 30 degrees Celsius. Since Sinequan is used for the treatment of various types of depressive illnesses, from major clinical depression to depression related with alcohol withdrawal, etc, the dosage given to the patients subsequently depends on the type of the disease. The dosage, in addition, might depend critically upon the response of the patient towards the initial dosages. During the beginning phase, the dosage could be from 5 mg to 100 mg, with even the time of the dosage varying, depending upon the disease, ranging from bedtime to evening every day. Typically, a dosage of 75 mg is usually given, which are gradually increased optimally by observing the patient over a period of 2 to 3 weeks. A divided dosage of up to 300 mg a day is also given to severely affected and hospitalized patients. In case of injections, the patient must lie down while he is being administered the dosage. Many cases have shown that a treatment with Sinequan done on a long-term basis has significantly prevented the relapse, or the return, of depression in patients. Factors like liver diseases, age, and weight are also influential when determining the amount of diseases.
