Like all other tricyclic antidepressants, Trimipramine also have same side effects. People who are having a problem of prostate enlargement and is taking Trimipramine may face a problem of urinary retention. In this case they have problem in starting a urine flow and face more difficulty in passing the urine. To manage this problem one can reduce the dosage of Trimipramine or can switch to other antidepressant.
